Honda So it's time Champion Again
For the first time since the departure of Valentino Rossi, Honda considered to have a squad the best racers. Plus the motor is very competitive, is the moment of the 2011 season in which Honda could return reigned.
The last time Honda sends riders to the podium MotoGP world champion was in 2006 by Nicky Hayden. In the same season Honda also grabbed the constructors' world championship after winning eight victories from 17 series that was held.
But after that Honda no longer able to compete in the struggle for the title. Manufacturers from Japan's even had to accept down to third position, behind Yamaha and Ducati.
But this year, since pre-season testing, the Honda is much promising performance. Plus the drivers are very good squad in Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa, this could be the year where Honda could again be a champion. Thus disclosed mechanical mainstay Valentino Rossi, Jerry Burgess.
"Honda makes major changes, no doubt about that. They've never won it seriously since 2003. I know they won in 2006 but I know the mentality of the people in the Honda and if you do not dominated the race throughout the season then his feelings would be different, "said Burgess.
"They've been trying in recent years, but the biggest hope is to take place this year,"said Burgess at MCN.
Although only two races has elapsed, the Honda performance so far is very satisfactory. Except for the incident that forced Stoner fell in Spain, the team drivers were able to show superiority over its competitors.
"Honda worked well with each other. If one of the drivers underwent a bad day he received information from colleagues who would make him say 'why is my bad day? It must be me and not because the bike'. Casey is clearly the fastest racer," Burgess finished.
