Honda Announces New 2011 CBF1000F

Honda motorcycles have expanded their highly popular CBF1000 family to include the brand new CBF1000F which is set to be released in Autumn of this year.

The CBF1000 was first released in 2006 and quickly became one of the most popular bikes sold by Honda. Customers enjoyed its reputation for performance, reliability and capability at a more than reasonable cost. The machines engine was adaptable to suit many different riding styles and its high specification and sturdiness allowed it to remain a firm favourite within the range.

The new CBF1000F is hoping to continue this success but with a slightly more stylish and sporty edge. It still holds all the same attributes found in its predecessor but with slight tweaks to make it that bit better. They include its single exhaust end-can to its 998cc Fire-blade derived motor, which boasts a higher compression ratio and gives out just over 10 bhp more than the original. One big selling point for this model is the fact that although there is more power being produced, the engine is 7% more fuel-efficient.

The aesthetics of the bike have also had a small face lift, with the steel casing being replaced by aluminium to make it that bit lighter and there is definitely a more sporty feel about it. Although the bike is being portrayed as a sport version, the comfort is most definitely still present with adjustable seat, windscreen and handlebars. This allows you to set your perfect riding position whilst still carrying off the sport look.

The central analogue controls have also seen some slight changes. The display now shows both real time and average consumption of fuel and has a stylish digital speedometer.

This new Honda will be released later this year and is sure to come with a range of extra Honda motorcycle parts such as heated grips and u-locks. This stylish new bike will be available in Black, Metallic Silver, Clean White and stylish Amber Yellow.

It joins the already popular CBF1000 family and is set to be a superb addition. The other Hondas in the range include the CBF1000 which is available in standard and ABS models and range from £7000-£7500 respectively. The CBF1000GT features fairing lowers and a brilliant three-box luggage system and is priced around £8400. The price of the new CBF1000F is yet to be released but is anticipated to be around £9000.

It is best to buy any new Honda motorcycles or Honda motorcycle spares from official Honda dealers in order to get the best deal. If you visit the Honda website you will be able to find your local authorised dealer using the 'Dealer Search' box.
