Published December 28, 2009 In recent days, had circulated the rumor that Wilco Zeelenberg, former MotoGP rider, technical coordinator of Yamaha Motor Europe and head of the Yamaha World Supersport team in 2008, was the number one candidate for the leadership of the box for Jorge Lorenzo. Same Zeelemberg has instead required to state that it is not the only candidate to replace Daniele Romagnoli. The Dutch indeed, said he was surprised by the speed with which news is circulated. Interviewed by the Dutch website "racesport.nl" he wanted to clarify the following."It's amazing how quickly the media publish these types of items. What surprised me is that nobody has contacted me for an explanation. Up to this phone call (with Racesport.nl) no journalist had called me to know if the story was true or not. The story that I have already taken up his post as director of team of Jorge Lorenzo is completely wrong. We should know more by mid-January. Until then there will be no news about my personal position on the Yamaha. Now I go skiing with my family and think about the next season early next year. "...

Jorge Lorenzo Picture Update
The following is from Yamaha...
Having flown straight back to Spain on Sunday night following his stunning ride to fourth place in Shanghai last weekend, Fiat Yamaha Team rider Jorge Lorenzo visited the Dexeus Institue in Barcelona on Monday morning for further examination by world-renowned specialist Dr. Xavier Mir.
Dr. Mir, who had only operated on Lorenzo two weeks ago to relieve compartmental syndrome in his right forearm, was keen to carry out his own diagnosis on the injuries sustained during free practice for the Grand Prix of China, which the Clinica Mobile had treated to great effect in Shanghai in order to allow Lorenzo to ride.
The injuries were confirmed to be slightly worse than first thought, especially to the right ankle, which was originally thought to have escaped fracture. A 3D CAT scan of both ankles revealed the following further injuries:
- Fracture of the Astragalus in the right ankle (no displacement)
- Torn lateral internal ligament in the left ankle
Treatment now consists of a solid cast for Lorenzo’s right ankle and an elastic support for his left, temporarily confining him to a wheelchair. "Next Monday we will carry out more tests and make a detailed evaluation of the injuries suffered to both ankles,” commented Doctor Mir.
Lorenzo lies second in the MotoGP World Championship after taking a victory, a second place, a third and a fourth from the opening four rounds. He now faces a battle to be fit for the next chapter of his incredible rookie story - the Grand Prix of France at Le Mans on 18th May.

Lorenzo.com : 2010 Title Win Not Essential
By Michele Lostia and Matt Beer
Monday, December 14th 2009, 12:47 GMT
Jorge Lorenzo says he would not regard missing out on the 2010 MotoGP title as a failure because he believes this is a halcyon time for talent in the championship.
The Yamaha rider fought with team-mate Valentino Rossi for this year's title and is expected to mount an even stronger challenge next year.
But Lorenzo said he felt no shame in finishing second to Rossi in 2009, and did not assume that he would be able to go one better next season.
"I can be nothing but satisfied with my second place in the championship," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"It will be difficult in 2010 because [Casey] Stoner has returned stronger than ever, [Dani] Pedrosa may have a more competitive Honda, and Valentino is always there - he will be 31, that's true, but he isn't old at all. I want to be there with them.
"Many perhaps expect me to win the title [in 2010], but what happens if I don't?
"This is an extremely difficult series, and on top of that it's a time of great riders. Second place is already a fine result. Look at Pedrosa: he's been in MotoGP for four years, but he still hasn't triumphed. To do that, you need to have every aspect sorted out."
Rossi and Lorenzo will continue as Yamaha team-mates in 2010, but Rossi reckons the team will ultimately need to choose between them as he does not think giving two title rivals equal status is a sustainable situation. The Italian has hinted that he could jump ship for Ducati if Yamaha insists on keeping Lorenzo.
But Lorenzo said he was not bothered by Rossi's stance and agreed with his business manager Marcus Hirsch's insistence that the rider line-up was solely Yamaha's choice,.
"I always agree with [Hirsch] and he is right when he says that it's not up to Valentino to decide the riders for 2011," said Lorenzo. "That choice is up to Yamaha. We are just employees."
He also thinks the dividing wall in the Yamaha garage - originally created when Rossi and Lorenzo were using different tyre suppliers in 2008 but retained this season as well - is irrelevant.
"In my opinion it changes nothing," Lorenzo said. "We are two very strong riders mentally, with firm ideas, and it would be the same without the wall."

Lorenzo: "My Priority Is Yamaha, But There Are No Guarantees"
Submitted by David Emmett o
The intricate dance of contract negotiating position for the 2011 silly season is in full swing. Every opportunity that the press gets to interrogate the Fantastic Four about their intentions for 2011 is seized upon with relish, despite the fact the 2010 MotoGP season has yet to begin. Jorge Lorenzo was the latest victim: the Spaniard was being feted by fans at a special dinner in Barcelona, laid on by his fan club. The Spanish press agency Europa Press was there, and took the opportunity to ask Lorenzo about the where he sees himself in 2011. Lorenzo's main priority, was to remain at Yamaha he said, because of the confidence the factory had shown in him and because he is very happy there. "But I can't guarantee anything," he added. Many factors would come into play in his choice, he said, and he would not make his choice solely on the machinery available. "I won't just be guided by having the best bike," Lorenzo said, "I'm not as cold-hearted as I may sometimes appear." Lorenzo would not be taking what Valentino Rossi chooses to do into account, though. "I don't really mind whether Rossi carries on or not," Lorenzo told Europa Press, referring to the possibility that the Italian could elect to retire at the end of 2010. Would Lorenzo like to be the only rider at Yamaha? "Of course!" Lorenzo replied, "but there are other things that motivate me more than whether I have Valentino or anyone else as a team mate." Lorenzo also had words of praise for his Fiat Yamaha team mate. "Rossi was the undisputed winner this year," Lorenzo said, but added that he himself had thrown away his own title chances. "We could have won it if we hadn't made so many mistakes, but we did, unfortunately." As for next season, it looked like being a repeat of 2009, Lorenzo told Europa Press. "The four first riders from this year should, in theory, be the riders who will be battling for the title next year." The fact that those same four riders - Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa - also see their contracts end at the end of the season creates an unusual situation, Lorenzo acknowledged. "This situation has never happened before, or has happened very rarely," he said. "It will be a very interesting riders market next year, for sure."

Jorge Lorenzo would be brave to join Ducati, says Nicky Hayden
By Matthew Birt -
Nicky Hayden has told MCN that Jorge Lorenzo would be taking a massive gamble if he opted to quit Yamaha and complete a multi-million pound switch to Ducati.
Lorenzo has been locked in negotiations with Ducati and Marlboro management as they try and tempt him with a massive pay hike to quit Yamaha’s factory squad.
Ducati’s pursuit of the Spaniard has intensified with mystery surrounding the future of Ducati’s number one rider and former world champion Casey Stoner.
Hayden, who could be frozen out of Ducati’s factory team should Lorenzo quit Yamaha, said: “I heard they've got the cheque book out. It would be interesting and it would be a brave move but money talks.
"It seems like Jorge is in a pretty good spot where here is now but I don't know all the ins and outs. But I'm sure this Lorenzo deal is on the front-burner.”

Jorge Lorenzo Motogp : Since 2012 engines 1000cc 4 stroke

Met Carmelo Ezpeleta (CEO Dorna), Claude Danis (FIM), Herve Poncharal (IRTA President), Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA) and the presence of Vito Ippolito (FIM President), Ignacio Verneda (FIM Sports Director), Javier Alonso (Dorna) and the secretary of the meeting Paul Butler. In practice it is officially returning to 1000cc from 2012. Here are the words of Ezpeleta and FIM President Vito Ippolito as roportate from Motogp.com. "From 2012 to present a MotoGP engine capacity to 1000cc, up to 4 cylinders and the maximum diameter of 81mm, which is a novelty because it defines many more important issues with the engine. Before the 2010 season there will be two more meetings to define the rest of the specifications for the new class. " Innovations was also the FIM President Vito Ippolito. "As regards the regulation MotoGP We have adopted a line that will be based on specific techniques such as displacement, which will be of 1000 cubic cm, the diameter of the pistons will be a maximum of 81mm and 4 cylinders. From here the rest of the regulations. The regulation comes into force in 2012, but already next year will be available to the specific regulations of this new engine. " With these new rules will then return back with the hope that it will reduce costs and especially electronics. Recall that the 4 stroke made his debut in 2002 (even if that year competed a few more bike 2 stroke 500cc) and in 2007 had reduced the displacement to the current 800cc.
Jorge Lorenzo: "I fear Rossi"
MotoGP - Jorge Lorenzo, on a visit to Bologna to Dainese, talked about the rivalry with Valentino Rossi and his expectations for 2010. The Mallorcan answer questions put by the "stampa.it" said Rossi who fears him and maybe 30 years he will behave like Pesaro, these references to the speech Yamaha contract renewal and leadership within the team. Here are some passages of the interview. "If I had discovered how to beat Valentino I would have already done. The truth is that Rossi is a racing track. Technically it is difficult to be his superior. Valentino is as brave as me. Let's say for the moment, my weapon is my age. If people expect me to win the World Cup, what to expect from him? The truth is that winning is not easy. Except that if I do not win I do not change anything: I only have 22 years. " To this question "The year 2010 will be the changing of the guard?" Responded as follows. "I am not a" worm ", a sorcerer, I know. If people expect me to win the World Cup, what to expect from him? The truth is that winning is not easy. Except that if I do not win I do not change anything: I only have 22 years. " Lawrence then spoke of the "big voice" made by Rossi with Yamaha for the treatment of first guide and also said that if he would run in the shoes of Rossi in the team of Lawrence. "Maybe in 30 years so I will behave myself. He has won many races, not to prove anything. If Rossi I afraid of? Obviously yes, this is true. Has made statements that he who is one hundred percent sure of himself would not do. If I were running in teams of Lorenzo Rossi. Why not? What difference does it run in a team or another? The end if you want to win you have to beat everybody. "

Lorenzo has taken the bull by the horns
Lorenzo has taken the bull by the horns In his game of yo-yo which is sometimes considered to be a candidate and as often as a driver simply seeking the victory, Jorge Lorenzo once again changed course once dismounted from the bike after a Grand Prix United States which he emerged winner. Literally as figuratively since, besides the realization was compounded by the collapse of his toughest opponent, Valentino Rossi, the very one that made him bite the dust more often than not this season . What heal the sores of Brno: "Before this race, I told the press that it was virtually impossible, but now it seems difficult but not impossible" and said the other Yamaha rider. "To win the World Championship must be within limits. I have flown within the last two races, trying to win, and I fell, it was a big disappointment. Today the situation has completely changed and it happened to Valentino and Dani, unfortunately for them, but it's good for me. "

Lorenzo: A new calendar, but more fun
Tags: Barracuda Calendar Lorenzo Moto GP Yamaha
By Andrew Lecondé -
An operation by way of review, a party with the fans, touring Asia on behalf of Yamaha and now this trip to Italy to put on a new 2010 calendar, but the suggestion is quite different since of those issued by the sign Barracuda. For once, Jorge Lorenzo is like a fish in water, surrounded by mermaids ready to take you by boat. The pilot's life, this is definitely not to drink the sea and within twenty miles away from these considerations, Valentino Rossi, him, her pleasure in racing cars. To each his own way of conducting his boat. In February, near Sepang, he will however be on deck.
We know that Valentino Rossi has dubbed a motocross event by bringing more importantly some of his famous colleagues to raise funds for a hospital that has made the fight against leukemia raison d'etre. A scourge against which Jorge Lorenzo had last year also fought his way by asking for a timetable for a foundation ANIMA, which helps little darlings in there every day with this disease. This time, the vice-world champion decided to get involved with the foundation Talita, whose purpose is to support children and young people with trisomy 21. Accompanied by a playful Marlasca Annan, the Yamaha rider has been for a calendar shoot by Oscar Fernandez Orengo. The ephemeris is also composed of other celebrities and the price of six euros will be transferred to the association that has passed some 500,000 copies of the previous opus this year. Our Champions are definitely the heart.

Rossi Manager are Affraid about Lorenzo
Valentino Rossi finally being assertive, he gave the signal to Yamaha in 2011 that they had to choose between him or Jorge Lorenzo. The reason is the rivalry between Rossi and Lorenzo increasingly pointed. This is because Lorenzo is not Hayden, Dovizioso or Mike Demeglio and De Rosa in 250cc which just backed up. Lorenzo proved himself capable of winning races and 4 wins this season are clear evidence. In Similar competition could occur between Mick Doohan and Alex Crivillé in the year 1996-1998. And of course remember though Rossi eventually defeated Doohan Crivillé but failed to fierce competition between the two ends with a crash that requires Doohan early retirement in 1999 to later become champions Crivillé the same years.
The manager Lorenzo , " I am surprised, How sad a world champion 9 times affraid by a Lorenzo!" Hirsch scathing criticism was issued after threatening Rossi will move from Yamaha to Ducati in 2011 if Jorge Lorenzostill maintain . "Rossi should have fun getting your teammates as Lorezno" added the driver manager Marcos Hirsch. Jorge Lorenzo's manager has lashed out hard against Valentino Rossi for his "behavior sad" with the pilot advised the Majorcan and Italian has "never get decenter" their ward despite the "war of corridors which has undertaken. "It's sad that a champion of the stature of Valentinus worry so much George. What we have to do is be happy, fight and win as equals and not use these strategies to 'get out of here', 'I do not want you are '. The psychological strategy of sending his friends journalists emissions surprise me a bit, "explained Hrisch told Cadena SER. The manager has said that Lorenzo maintains no conflict with the Italian and that "the problem seems to be that it is Valentino. "George is not at all obsessed with Valentino. It is a contender again, a very high level but that is all. On the track there are other drivers that are fast and good and you never know what will happen, he said. As to the hierarchy within Yamaha's Rossi, Hirsch points out that the two pilots "are two luxury employees working for the factory and can not understand the Italian" put on the ropes the boss. " In this regard, consider "sad that a champion of the caliber of Valentino, with all the world that has, has to make war in the halls and then get some kind of advantage." Lorenzo manager states that "there are comments and statements" of Rossi that "even if unintentionally any George", something he will not "allow". "It seems that there is a law that says spoiled can not speak for Rossi. I take care of the interests of George and I worry about George," she warned. Does not rule out Yamaha Hirsch does not rule out that this situation might lead to an outflow of Lorenzo of Yamaha. "We will listen to people who come and talk to us and together with George sitting at the table will value what we believe is best for the career of George. What others say, the little messages and hallway gossip, or take away or give us when making the decision. If we need to assess Suzuki, Honda, Ducati, at any point in the assessment will be that Mr. Rossi says he wants us to leave, "he says. The representative of the Balearic continued analyzing the behavior of both drivers, contrasting his pupil, "a type also extremely polite and gentlemanly and when you do it sincerely welcomes" Rossi, a champion who "alone is full when you win." Finally, Hirsch gave a message for the future and another on the past, the last World MotoGP crown back where 'Il Dottore'. "(Rossi) is not going to decenter George never, I have tried this year has been against disparadero, but I think he won because we've lost," has settled.

As to the hierarchy within Yamaha's Rossi, Hirsch points out that the two pilots "are two luxury employees working for the factory and can not understand the Italian" put on the ropes the boss. Fiat Yamaha pair round off highly successful year
Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo’s podium finishes at Valencia wrapped up the Triple Crown of Riders’, Teams’ and Constructors’ World titles for Yamaha for the second year running.
It has been another season full of success stories for Yamaha in 2009, with Sunday’s results at the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana capping off a campaign which has yielded the Riders’ World title for Valentino Rossi, the Teams’ World Championship for Fiat Yamaha and top spot in the Constructers’ standings for the Japanese factory.
The final round of the year also saw Jorge Lorenzo seal the runner-up spot in the premier class standings in just his second year in MotoGP, after he put on a great show to challenge Rossi for the title over the course of the season.
Sunday was the ninth time that Rossi and Lorenzo have shared the podium this year and between them the Italian and the Spaniard have taken ten wins in 2009, in what has been Yamaha’s most successful season ever in MotoGP.
Reflecting on their achievements Yamaha Motor Racing’s Managing Director Lin Jarvis stated, “It gives me a great personal satisfaction for Yamaha and the Fiat Yamaha Team to have recorded ‘back-to-back’ titles for 2008 and 2009. Our strong performances throughout this year’s MotoGP championship are the result of a good cocktail of essential ingredients all being blended together in the right way. The performances of our riders have been incredible.”
“Valentino has won his ninth World Championship, making it four titles with Yamaha in his six seasons with us. Jorge has again surprised and thrilled us all year and made fantastic progress to claim the runner’s-up position in only his second MotoGP season.”
Jarvis continued, “Our engineers have used every single input from our riders’ feedback over the past years and throughout this season to develop the YZR-M1 bike into the bike of reference in the MotoGP paddock. Our team staff have worked tirelessly at every test and every Grand Prix to provide the optimum circumstances for our riders to be ready to win.”

Lorenzo in Thailand
Jorge Lorenzo Speaks...
"It is incredible to see so many happy people here in Bangkok, where they don't get to see this kind of event very often. Motorcycling is not one of the most popular sports here but it is certainly one of the most important businesses. To be able to come here and give the people at Yamaha a boost gives me a lot of pride. Tomorrow we'll head to Indonesia and I'm sure we'll find out even more about the secrets of this great brand."
Jorge Lorenzo was met by a huge crowd in Thailand on Friday as he started his South East Asia trip with a visit to the Yamaha Motor Factory in Bangkok, before spending the afternoon at the capital city’s most important dealership, the Yamaha Rider’s Club.
The 22 year-old was welcomed by the factory President Frank Nagashima and Chief Operating Officer Praphan Phornthanavasit, and was then given a tour of each department of the plant where no fewer than 3,000 people work.
After, Lorenzo pulled on his race leathers to test ride a Yamaha YZF-R1 which was decorated in Fiat Yamaha livery, and delighted 800 onlookers with a burnout.
It was the first time Lorenzo had been aboard a motorcycle since an operation in Barcelona on November 16 to remove a plate from his left collarbone, and he enjoyed his experience.
“It is incredible to see so many happy people here in Bangkok, where they don’t get to see this kind of event very often,” said the Mallorcan. “Motorcycling is not one of the most popular sports here but it is certainly one of the most important businesses. The controversy in the team Yamaha.
The manager of Lorenzo Rossi responds to calm down the controversy in the team Yamaha. Now is the manager of Lawrence Hirsch, to respond to Rossi Valentino is distressing that so preoccupied by Lorenzo
Marcos Hirsch looks after the interests of his thoroughbred, Jorge Lorenzo, and certainly did not appreciate the latest utterances of our (9 times) world champion Valentino Rossi.
"And 'disheartening to see how a sample of the caliber of Valentino Rossi is so concerned about the fate of Jorge"
The Doctor said recently that, after 2010, the Yamaha will necessarily have to choose between him and Lorenzo. Two cocks in the same poultry house increases the chances of winning the World Cup, dramatically increase the performance, but carry a heavy burden: they make the air breathable and the box and bring passion pilots even with the engine off. The fear that one can, more or less consciously, to enjoy the work of the other is tangible, giusticata Valentino and pushed to put an either / or his employer in Japan.
All this has been "digested" by the clan of Lorenzo, although Rossi has tried to soften the tone of the debate.
Marcos Hirsch, speaking to Ross, there went heavy with the French press: "It 'disheartening to see how a sample of the caliber of Valentino Rossi is so concerned about the fate of Jorge. Instead, it should appreciate the struggle on the track. But his concern is all for Lorenzo. His strategy is to send messages through the press to his rival, while we are only interested deal on track. "
And again: "It 'sad to note that Rossi uses these battles behind the scenes, made to gain an advantage. For sure next year we will evaluate the best proposals for Suzuki, Honda or Ducati. But the final decision will not be affected quite the words that Mr. Rossi has spent in recent days against us. "
What to say? Missing a lot at the start of 2010 season (which starts on 11 April 2010 by Qatar), but the minds are already hot. We think the long winter holidays to bring a bit 'of peace between the pilots and their managers from the tongue.

The Mallorcan no secret that next year will attempt the assault to the throne of Rossi, a 'complicated undertaking, but it is not impossible. Here is the Lawrence-thought.
"Next year I'll try again. I can assure both the next year or the next years I would become world champion. As I always say, in many sports, things can happen. This year was my best result and I will work because it is no accident. I hope that in coming years, at least once, to win the championship. "
Lawrence then spoke about the relationship with his team-mate Valentino Rossi.
"I suppose that should not be very easy to have a teammate of 22 years which is also fast."
Finally he concluded with a thought on the "escape" of Yamaha engineers at Honda. "We hope that Yamaha will react and lose the competitiveness that we have now. In my Honda wants 'Europeanized', from marketing. "

MotoGP - Preview Valencia - Jorge Lorenzo: "fantastic place to finish the season"
Published November 3, 2009
Jorge Lorenzo arrives in Valencia did the most conscious of, in 2009, when he battled for the title until the race at Phillip Island. In Valencia, a point is enough to secure second place in the league and the Majorcan hopes to become a podium or even better with a win. To him the word. "Valencia is a fantastic place to finish the championship at home with your fans. I never got a win here and I know that not one of the best tracks for Yamaha, but I'm sure I can try to change things and finish the championship in the best possible way. The last two races have not been good I want to overcome this time. Also, I need a point to become a 'vice-champion' and I'd really like to do it with a podium or a victory. This is my goal in Valencia. My best race here was in 2005 when I finished second, but I think my fondest memory was in 2006 when I won the championship. 2009 has been an incredible year for me and for Yamaha and I can not wait to celebrate with my fans in a home race. Jorge Lorenzo always run with Yamaha" Jorge Lorenzo hopes to continue his career as a Yamaha rider. The revelation made by the Mallorcan close the door to solutions such as Honda or Ducati, this recital that his contract expires in 2010 (as well as that of his team-mate Valentino Rossi). To bring the news is the online edition of Marca. Here are the words of the Fiat Yamaha Team rider but also adds that in life anything can happen. "I appreciate what has been done during the season, because we have improved a lot compared to last year and this was my goal. I look forward to the rest of my Yamaha career, but in this changing world, nothing is safe "- said the presentation of the video game" Forza Motorsport 3 " 'at the Circuit de Catalunya, where he challenged the Formula 1 driver Marc Gene with The Game - "I was much more regular. I have always been at the forefront, always fighting for the win, although there is always something to complain about. You must always try, you should always try to win the championship. I think we must always be hungry to get better. Rossi is the most comprehensive pilot and what he has more experience, but we must not lose sight of Stoner and Pedrosa. However you can not just be aggressive, you can do well in one or two races, but eventually ends up on the floor, so my philosophy is to have balance in everything. "

MotoGP – Preview Sepang – Jorge Lorenzo: ”Non penso al campionato”
The fall in Phillip Island Jorge Lorenzo has effectively ousted from the title fight, the Mallorcan had "buffer" Nicky Hayden and in contact had broken the front brake lever and then failing to take the first corner. "After the disappointment of Australia, are pleased to have the opportunity to be riding again so soon. I've done wrong and I'll be in good shape for the race. I do not think about the championship now, my goal is to confirm second place in the world in what is only my second season in MotoGP. I think this is a great achievement and I will be happy if I can do. Sepang very much, I know him very well for trying and I have some good memories, especially that of 2007 when I won the title in the 250. This time with my team we will focus on having a good weekend and get as many points as possible in order to reach our goal. "
MotoGP – Per Mick Doohan Jorge Lorenzo diventerà più forte
Jorge Lorenzo has effectively "thrown" the possibility of fighting for the championship in Phillip Island race, race race on Sunday and won by Casey Stoner ahead of Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa. As you may recall the fact Majorcan Yamaha had fallen at the first corner following a collision with Nicky Hayden, innocently involved in the accident. According to Mick Doohan, however, the already twice world champion in the quarter-liter emerge stronger from this season, his second in the MotoGP class. Here are the words of Doohan as reported by MCN.

Jorge Lorenzo Philips Island Preview 2009
Missing the past three races at the end of the MotoGP World Championship and Jorge Lorenzo arrives at Phillip Island (fifteenth race of the year 2009) with a gap of 18 points on his team-mate Valentino Rossi. To win the world must necessarily come before the Pesaro and must also hope in the help of a few pilot. Casey Stoner at Estoril on falling and Spaniard Dani Pedrosa made his game coming in second and third place respectively and relegating Rossi in fourth place and then in one race Lorenzo was able to recall fewer than 12 points, which hopes to do even in the three remaining races. Certainly not be easy, partly because the same Stoner and Pedrosa could play into the hands of Rossi came to the maiorchinino, here anyway Lorenzo-thought. Jorge Lorenzo "Low Profile" that speaks through the official Yamaha press release on the next race at Phillip Island, the fifteenth round of the 2009 Grand Prix motorcycle racing MotoGP class. The Mallorcan rider is said to very pleased with his fourth victory this year (obtained at Estoril) and also speaks of confirmation of the second place in the championship. Obviously he hopes in the title, that's still his words like that have a "Low Profile".
"I'm very happy, after my fourth victory this year and now my goal is to confirm second place in the championship in Australia. I have a chance if I do a lot of points! This has been my goal all year and I will fight to get it as soon as possible. Phillip Island is a track I like, it's always special to run and, in my opinion is the best circuits in the championship, along with the Mugello. Drive to 250 km / h, but you can still see the sea and the birds, it is incredible! Last year I could not get on the podium, but I'll always remember 2007, when I won by 20 seconds ahead in 250. My whole team is confident and determined to get more good results in these two important weeks! "
I said he was happy with my victory and I told him I was happy with his second place. Jokingly I told him that I would let him win at Phillip Island where I had helped in other races! "
"I'm more focused than ever with a great desire to do well - Lorenzo said in a video interview SportMediaset - but in the races anything can happen, it can rain, can pull a lot of wind, I can make a mistake, I can guarantee is that I will give everything 100% and are very prepared. Estoril Stoner certainly helped me and end of the race has passed in my motorhome and I said he was happy with my victory and I told him I was happy with his second place. Jokingly I told him that I would let him win at Phillip Island where I had helped in other races! "

MotoGP - Jorge Lorenzo:''The team of red sometimes takes our data''
Jorge Lorenzo won the Portuguese GP in an interview to the magazine "Riders" in the October talks about how sometimes the team of Valentino Rossi copied his telemetry. The Pesaro has always claimed the opposite: that was the team of Lawrence to copy its "setup". Then you turn back the challenge from Majorca and the Pesaro at the time at the track are separated by just 18 points when missing three races at the end of the season (Phillip Island, Sepang and Valencia). Here are the words of Mallorca.
"My truth is that Valentino was developed with Yamaha since 2004, but if we talk about changes that occur during the weekend, is not true in any way I can copy your data. And 'my chief mechanic that makes put my bike. Indeed, in some races, the team approached Valentino to copy the configuration of my bike. E 'normale. Telemetry Valentino is visible to me and I am visible to him. What I'm saying is Some things always change from race to race. I am almost certain that in some races the team has changed the bike of Valentino by following our instructions. At every race I go fast from Friday. copiassi If I would fast only on Saturdays and Sundays . Boom listening for the MotoGP at Estoril, the scene of the fourteenth round of the 2009 Grand Prix motorcycle racing: the extraordinary performance of Jorge Lorenzo - who gained the top step of the podium - and the fourth largest Valentino Rossi's 5,277,000 viewers glued to the television, a 32.82% share of the commercial target.
